My English

ALICE IN WONDERLAND!

In this time I made the best of friends and a hard effort. It was a 4-month practice for the best performance ever! Out of all 8 shows the last one was outstanding. I had to drive up and down and up and down. We had to go all the way to central or even to Hong Kong Island. It was harder then it sounds.

When I auditioned, I was petrified - I had never done it before and I had never seen any of the people. The audition went quit well they asked me to stay behind and pretend that a giant walnut was my baby and pretend that I always want the latest trends. They started laughing of all the jokes I made! And a few days later I got a call that changed my acting carrier. “YES! I got a part” I screamed when my mum hung up the phone and told me I was the duchess. I didn’t even know what the duchess was but I was so happy I couldn’t even stop picking up the phone and pretending that I had an agent and saying: “ are you sure I just got a part in Alice in wonderland.”

When we got to the first meeting of our play I met a lot of people I didn’t even know. They were tall and short, younger and older and we all had a very important roll to play. After a few meetings we started being a giant group after rehearsals some of us would be found down at festival walk eating lunch together. Some of us would still be their waiting for parents (that was mostly me) we were all friends together and never left each others side.

When we had our first run through we were so proud of our selves. Then we started getting special guests. And it would get harder and harder. When it got to the real shows I started getting real nervous. When it came to my scene for the first time I was frightened as hell but it came out pretty good. The second time I got used to it. On the last show we nearly cried when we took our last bow in front of the audience. When the curtains came up again (by surprise) we started shouting and the audience clapped again we ran of stage and said our last good byes and cried. Then another surprise we were having a pizza party. We started crying at the end. All of us did even some of the boys! When we definitely had to say our last goodbyes it was over. I will never forget this experience. Ever!!

  1. Femke, this is a great use of your blog for a subject other than ICT: it is very nice to see. There is some very good writing here, but it could benefit from a little bit of context: when did this happen, what organisation was it with , how did you become to be involved with it? Can you try and put some of this in an introduction, and then get into the writing you already have?

Also, don't forget, you should not have your surname in your blog! See if you can edit this post to make these changes.

  2. As I said before, you are missing a lot of capitals! Especially the title!!!
